Babies! Babies! Babies!
The new house is completed at last and is now full with 7 beautiful Zulu babies, and a team of Zulu carers who work night and day shifts.
There are 3 month old triplets – 2 boys and a girl – who were placed by the social worker. The little girl is HIV+ and not strong and is beginning ARV treatment. She is very cute, of course.
See photos! Each baby has a sad story, but now they are in the loving care of the Smedley family and the two Zulu house-mothers and the carers. The house is named “Bekezela” which means in Zulu “to move a long distance forward with hope” – very fitting for this first babies’ home of Destiny House!
